Yajna leads Matota Technologies with a focus on translating scientific instrumentation into accessible, research-ready tools. With a Master's degree in Physics, she brings together technical understanding, company strategy, and a commitment to improving outcomes for researchers and the communities they serve.

02

Yimeng (Tony) Tong

Chief Technology Officer

Optical Engineering & Research

Tony is a doctoral researcher and co-author of the foundational work underlying the CSOD platform. He leads the optical design and engineering of the Compact Schlieren Optical Device, translating laboratory-scale schlieren imaging into a compact instrument designed for biological research workflows.

03

Jay X. Tang

Founder & Scientific Advisor

Biological Physics & Optical Imaging

Jay is a professor, biological physicist, and co-author of the research that established the scientific foundation for the CSOD. His work in biological physics and optical imaging informs the platform's development and its potential applications in biological research and drug development.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Science, Engineering, and Application

The CSOD is grounded in peer-reviewed research and advanced through collaboration across optical engineering, biological science, and drug-development workflows. Matota welcomes conversations with researchers and technical partners interested in helping shape the platform.

Interested in Joining or Collaborating?

We welcome inquiries from scientists, engineers, and researchers interested in contributing to the development of the CSOD platform.
